Roadside billboards

Outdoor advertising · Damascus, Syria
Your customers are already on the road. Roadside boards, mega boards and unipoles on the main roads into Damascus: we find the position, print the face, put it up and photograph it standing.
The company
A billboard is not a panel you rent. StarMedia is an outdoor advertising company in Damascus, and the board your brand goes on is one we chose. While it is up, looking after it is our job.
One team runs all of it. In practice that means one number to call, and the person who picks up knows which road your board is on and what is printed on it.
One company
On the highways and the approaches into Damascus. A driver passes the same board going in and coming home.
The large formats, for the stretches where the road opens out and nothing stands between the driver and the face. Suited to a launch, or to a name that has to register on people who were not looking for it.
A single column at a junction or roundabout, angled to catch traffic from more than one direction.
One message. Type that reads from a hundred metres.
High-resolution print on stock that takes sun and rain. A crew hangs it and comes back through the run to keep the face clean until the last day.
We photograph every site the day it goes up, and the closing report names the boards and the dates they ran.
Our network
The same board, two streets over, meets a different crowd. We look at who uses the road, and at what time of day, before we look at the board. Damascus is the base.

Four steps
Tell us what you are selling and who has to see it. You do not have to know which format you want; that is the part we advise on.
You get a shortlist your budget covers, and we go through it board by board and tell you what each one is doing there. Every position has an alternative behind it, so you can swap one out without starting over.
We size the artwork to the face it will hang on and print it at high resolution. The crew puts it up. If a date moves, you hear it from us.
Photos reach you as the boards go up. We keep checking them while they run, and the report comes when the campaign is over.
Price, timing, artwork, positions, proof
There is no single price, and anyone who quotes you one before asking where you want to be is guessing. What moves it: the position, the road it stands on, the size of the face, and how long you run. Repetition is what makes outdoor work, so a longer run usually does more for you than a bigger face for a short one. Send us the road and the dates, and you get positions with prices against them.
It depends on what is free. A position someone else is running has to come off first, and the face has to be printed before the crew can hang it. Give us the date you want to be up by, and we will tell you what is open by then rather than what would be open in a perfect month.
Either. Send the original file rather than a screenshot or something pulled out of a chat, and we will check it at the size it will actually print. If you have nothing yet, we draw it for the board it is going on: a face that works on a phone rarely works at a hundred metres.
We put the list together, then you sign it off. Four things go into it: who you need to reach, how much traffic passes, which way it travels, and how clearly the board reads from a moving car.
You get photos. The crew takes them the day your board goes up, in the position you booked. Through the run they check the faces and clean them, and any repair gets written down. At the end you get a closing report saying where the campaign ran and how long each board was up.
The form goes to our WhatsApp. We come back with positions and prices.
